Serve with us! |
Every year, Covenant Bible Camp is staffed by former campers, CYAK team members, Alaska Christian College students, Aarigaa leaders, youth workers, church members, short-term missionaries, and more.
We need you!We rely on volunteers who are willing to serve their time and energy to make camp the best experience possible.
Every summer we seek qualified volunteers to serve as: counselors, cooks (and kitchen help), MacGuyver maintenance people, worship leaders (we do acoustic), speakers, mechanics, office gurus, fire builders, life guards, nurses, photographers, games leader, arts and crafts directors, and more... In addition, we need Junior Staff - campers from Western Alaska, ages 15 (or have completed 9th grade) - 18, who volunteer to serve for Trailblazers and Pathfinders. A Junior Staffer must be willing and able to work with younger youth and to be a role model. They must attend Covenant Bible Camp in the current year and demonstrate maturity and leadership potential as a camper and be involved in a local church congregation. If you think you can fill one of these positions: Apply now! Want to help but can't make it to Unalakleet? There are always ways that people can serve even when you are not in Unalakleet! Contact us to learn if there are any opportunities to serve in a remote capacity. |
Interested in an internship?Covenant Youth of Alaska's internship program is geared towards young adults who are interested in ministry.

Frequently Asked Questions:
When do I travel? Most staff travel to and from Unalakleet on first and last day of the camp they are serving (i.e. If you are serving Junior High week-Pathfinders, you'd book a ticket to arrive in UNK on the first day of Junior High Camp and to depart to ANC on the last day of Pathfinders Camp).
Who pays for travel? You will pay for your travel. If you are flying with MARC, Covenant Bible Camp will help arrange travel, but you will pay for your travel when you pay for registration. If you are flying with RAVN, you will be responsible for organizing travel and communicating with the Covenant Bible Camp office about your arrival and departure. Some staff ask their churches to partner with them in mission by sending them and paying some or all of their travel expenses. Additionally, scholarships are available for travel - Contact: [email protected].

The MARC plane operates out of the Million Air terminal on the south end of the airport. The address is 6160 Carl Brady Dr Anchorage, AK 99502. (*Option not available for those attending Call to Worship).
How do I pay for travel on MARC? If you are flying on MARC, you make payment to "Covenant Bible Camp" and mail it to PO Box 203356 Anchorage, AK 99520. You can also make a payment online: Here. See pricing below.
Are there other expenses I should know about? Once volunteers arrive in UNK they don't need to have other expenses. While not required, some staff do go above and beyond by donating $50 per day for their food expenses. Some staff bring spending money to buy Bible Camp merch, food from the canteen, or a Bible Camp sweatshirt.
